Bob Church retired after teaching and coaching for 35 years; the last 30 years have been in the Penn Yan School District. He was a 1970 Graduate of SUNY Cortland. Bob is married with two children.

Bob has been a member of the Penn Yan Fire Department for the past 22 years and a member of the Lakeside Country Club and a member of the Penn Yan Elks Club.

In September 2006, Bob was appointed to the board and elected to fill out the term in March 2007. Bob was re-elected in March 2008 for a four -year term. Bob is the Chair for the Finance Committee and serves on the Parks & Recreation and the Public Works Committees.
