D. Christine Christensen has lived in the village of Penn Yan for over 25 years. She worked in the village for Murphy & Associates for 30 years and still has a small Income Tax business that she does at her home. During her working years she also became licensed to sell securities and is a registered stock broker. She continues to do this from home and is associated with Leigh Baldwin & Co. in Cazenovia, NY.

Chris was appointed to the board to a one year term that became vacant when Bob Church was elected mayor. She will serve as Chairman of the Parks & Recreation Committee, and also serves on Public Safety, and Planning and Development committees.
