Douglas G. Marchionda, Jr.
A lifelong resident of Penn Yan, Mayor Doug Marchionda Jr. is a proud graduate of Penn Yan Academy.
Mayor Marchionda began a career in public service in 1992, when he was first elected village trustee. On March 19, 2002, he was elected Mayor of the Village of Penn Yan.
Currently he is chairperson of the village ad-hoc building committee.
In addition to serving the Village of Penn Yan, he was elected to a seat on the Yates County Legislature in January 2000. For the county, he is chairperson of Yates County
public works committee, a member of the finance committee, and the county building committee.
Mayor Marchionda is a member of the Town of Milo Republican committee, the Keuka Lake Outlet Compact, the Keuka watershed improvement compact and the Yates Culture Recreational
Resource Board.
He is a past member of the Cornell Cooperative Extension Board of Directors.
Mayor Marchionda and his wife, Tracy, have two sons, Anthony and Nicholas.

Mandate
The duty of the Mayor is to monitor the administration and government of the Village and the conduct of the employees of the Village, and communicate such information and
recommend such measures to the Village Board as will improve the finances, administration and government of the Village.
